テーブル結合を使用するステートメントの説明

TiDB では、SQL オプティマイザーは、テーブルを結合する順序と、特定の SQL ステートメントに対して最も効率的な結合アルゴリズムを決定する必要があります。このドキュメントの例は、次のサンプル データに基づいています。

インデックス結合

結合する必要がある推定行数が少ない (通常は 10000 行未満) 場合は、インデックス結合方法を使用することをお勧めします。この結合方法は、MySQL で使用される主要な結合方法と同様に機能します。次の例では、オペレータ├─TableReader_28(Build)が最初にテーブルt1を読み取ります。一致する行ごとに、TiDB はテーブルをプローブしますt2 :

インデックス結合はメモリの使用効率が高いですが、多数のプローブ操作が必要な場合、他の結合方法よりも実行が遅くなる可能性があります。次のクエリも検討してください。

内部結合操作では、TiDB は結合の並べ替えを実装し、最初にt1またはt2にアクセスする可能性があります。 TiDB がbuildのステップを適用する最初のテーブルとしてt1を選択すると仮定すると、TiDB はテーブルをプローブする前に述語t1.col = 'value'でフィルタリングできるt2 。述語t2.col='value'のフィルターは、テーブルt2の各プローブに適用されますが、これは他の結合方法よりも効率が悪い可能性があります。

インデックス結合は、ビルド側が小さく、プローブ側がインデックス済みで大きい場合に有効です。インデックス結合がハッシュ結合よりもパフォーマンスが悪く、SQL オプティマイザーによって選択されない次のクエリを検討してください。

上記の例では、SQL オプティマイザーは、インデックス結合よりもパフォーマンスの悪いハッシュ結合プランを選択します。クエリの最適化はNP完全問題であり、最適ではない計画が選択される可能性があります。これが頻繁なクエリである場合は、 SQL計画管理を使用してヒントをクエリにバインドすることをお勧めします。これは、アプリケーションが TiDB に送信するクエリにヒントを挿入するよりも管理が容易になる可能性があります。

インデックス結合のバリエーション

ヒントINL_JOINを使用したインデックス結合操作は、外部テーブルで結合する前に、中間結果のハッシュ テーブルを作成します。 TiDB は、ヒントINL_HASH_JOINを使用して外側のテーブルにハッシュ テーブルを作成することもサポートしています。これらのインデックス結合の各バリエーションは、SQL オプティマイザーによって自動的に選択されます。

ハッシュ結合

ハッシュ結合操作では、TiDB は結合のBuild側のデータを読み取ってハッシュ テーブルにキャッシュし、次に結合のProbe側のデータを読み取り、ハッシュ テーブルをプローブして必要な行にアクセスします。ハッシュ結合は、インデックス結合よりも実行に多くのメモリを必要としますが、結合する必要がある行が多数ある場合ははるかに高速に実行されます。ハッシュ結合演算子は TiDB でマルチスレッド化され、並列で実行されます。

HashJoin_27の実行プロセスに対して、TiDB は次の操作を順番に実行します。

  1. Build面のデータをメモリにキャッシュします。
  2. キャッシュされたデータに基づいて、 Build側でハッシュ テーブルを構築します。
  3. Probe面のデータを読み取ります。
  4. Probe側のデータを使用して、ハッシュ テーブルをプローブします。
  5. 修飾されたデータをユーザーに返します。

EXPLAIN結果テーブルのoperator info列には、クエリが内部結合か外部結合か、結合の条件など、 HashJoin_27に関するその他の情報も記録されます。上記の例では、クエリは内部結合であり、結合条件equal:[eq(test.t1.id, test.t2.id)]はクエリ条件WHERE t1.id = t2.idと部分的に対応しています。次の例の他の結合演算子の演算子情報は、これと似ています。

ランタイム統計

tidb_mem_quota_query (デフォルト値: 1GB) を超えると、TiDB はoom-use-tmp-storageの値がtrue (デフォルト) であるという条件で一時ストレージを使用しようとします。これは、ハッシュ結合の一部として使用されるBuild演算子がディスク上に作成される可能性があることを意味します。メモリ使用量などのランタイム統計は、 EXPLAIN ANALYZE個の結果テーブルのうちのexecution info個に表示されます。次の例は、1GB (デフォルト) のtidb_mem_quota_queryクォータと 500MB のクォータを使用したEXPLAIN ANALYZEの出力を示しています。 500MB では、ディスクは一時ストレージに使用されます。

Configuration / コンフィグレーション

ハッシュ結合のパフォーマンスは、次のシステム変数の影響を受けます。

  • tidb_mem_quota_query (デフォルト値: 1GB) - クエリのメモリ クォータを超えた場合、TiDB はハッシュ結合のBuild演算子をディスクにスピルしてメモリを節約しようとします。
  • tidb_hash_join_concurrency (デフォルト値: 5 ) - 同時ハッシュ結合タスクの数。

マージ ジョイン

マージ結合は、結合の両側がソートされた順序で読み取られる場合に適用される特別な種類の結合です。これは、効率的なジッパー マージに似ていると言えます。結合のBuild側とProbe側の両方でデータが読み取られるため、結合操作はストリーミング操作のように機能します。マージ結合は、ハッシュ結合よりもはるかに少ないメモリしか必要としませんが、並列には実行されません。

マージ結合演算子の実行プロセスでは、TiDB は次の操作を実行します。

  1. Join Group の全データをBuild側からメモリに読み込みます。
  2. Probe面のデータを読み込みます。
  3. Probe側のデータの各行がBuild側の完全な結合グループと一致するかどうかを比較します。同等の条件とは別に、同等でない条件があります。ここでの「一致」とは、主に、同等でない条件が満たされているかどうかを確認することを指します。結合グループとは、すべての結合キーの中で同じ値を持つデータを指します。
